Better to See You

Series: Arrow Tactical: Wolf Trilogy

This case will change their lives.

Ryan “Wolf” is an Ex Navy SEAL and the founder of a black ops security firm. He’s never considered himself the settling-down type. He’s barely been a sufficient brother to the sister who needs him. But, he’s the best at his job. He never fails.

Alexandra is an assistant professor of behavioral psychology and a budding criminologist. Having grown up in the shadows of her infamous father, she’s determined to make it on her own and she’s moved to another country to do it.

When the two are pulled together by a mutual friend to help find his missing daughter, it’s a race against time.

There’s no ransom. No demands. Only a father with unlimited means demands that both the media and the FBI stay out of it.

Ryan finds the keen, observant, stubborn woman to be far too distracting. She’s a novice, and as such is a risk, one he’d rather not take.

Alex is intimated by the hulking stern man with ice-blue eyes and a perma-scowl, but she’s determined to prove her worth.

As case facts turn to fiction, a searing attraction obliterates first impressions. Despite themselves, they grow closer. The case twists and turns. Within days, their hearts and lives are on the line.

Wolf and Alex expect to use every skill at their disposal to solve the case. What they don’t expect is for their discovery to change them forever.

Fisher and Sophia!!!!

I devoured this book! I will be honest in saying that I don’t normally love extended age gap stories, but Fisher and Sophia were everything. If you haven’t read the first 2 stories in the series, I do recommend that you read, as we meet a much younger Sophia and the trauma she went through. Fisher was her head of security, and watched the pain and struggle that she went through to push forward. Fisher is about 16 years older than Sophia—she is about to be 26 and he is 42. He left his post as her bodyguard years before when she went on to pursue a career in the FBI. Sophia is strong, brave, resilient, and light years more mature than her age. She has taken her past trauma and dedicated her life to catching the bad guys. Fisher has since pursued a career in the CIA—and is shocked to learn the new recruit who will be accompanying him in his next mission is Sophia, all grown up. I absolutely adored this couple. Yes, there is a wider age gap, but what truly worked for them was their shared history. Fisher understood her, and she already trusted him with her personal demons. Yes, Fisher tries fighting the attraction while they are undercover as a married couple, but he is blown away by the brilliance of Sophia. He truly is in awe of her and falls hard and fast. Sophia’s past crippled her ability to be intimate. It was a battle she thought she’d never win, but with Fisher, she felt alive and seen. She WANTED to be with him, she FELT it. She didn’t need to talk herself into it because it was so natural and real. There was so much love, so much swoon, and excellent spice. Bravo!

Undercover feelings

Cloak of Red is the third book in The Arrow Tactical Series. This is the story of Sophia and Fisher. You need to read the previous books to get a full understanding of the main characters in this book. Sophia is now an adult who had been working for the FBI as an analyst. But she wanted a change and that came when she was recruited by the CIA to work in the field, undercover. Her driving force now is to find out just who was behind her kidnapping years ago and help to bring down anyone that was involved, along with those that continue these things. When she is paired with Fisher, aka Damian, to pose as a married couple things will get interesting. Fisher is her father's best friend and was her bodyguard after she was rescued from her kidnapping. He may be older but he is a silver fox who puts the grrr in growl. There has always been a closeness between these two and the feelings that start to develop deeper add complications that were not foreseen. I really loved reading Sophia's story and seeing how she overcame her experience and dedicated herself to a very worthy cause. Fisher is a sexy man who cares deeply and may not want to cross a line but in the end the heart wants what it wants for these two.

Hold on tight for this thrilling ride

Stolen Beauty is the fourth book in The Arrow Tactical Series and it will grab you from the first page, take you on a ride you will not forget, and then leave you wanting more at the end. The story is about Sage and Knox, with a lot of suspense, intrigue, love, romance, some laughs and sizzling passion woven perfectly together. When Sage's house is broken into in the middle of the night she does what her older brother had taught her, run to Knox. Sage's sister Sloane is missing and she will move heaven and earth to find her, after losing her brother two years ago. Knox was best friends and brothers wtih Sage's brother and that meant he would do anything for the two sisters. He may be older but this man is hard pressed to not fall for the beautiful and strong-willed Sage. There are forces out there they that will have to battle but if they are together then it will be all right in the end.

A page turner!!!

Eep, I've been dying to read this book as I love this series and author, and it did not disappoint. From cover to cover you'll be transfixed, trying to make sense of what's going on, and be prepared for still having questions past the final page. It was very cleverly and thoughtfully done. The heroine will be an inspiration to many. I could say so much more on this book but need answers so am diving into Savage Beauty instead. That in itself should speak volumes.
